The 6 Piston design spreads clamping pressure evenly over the pad surface. This is designed to ensure maximum braking force is applied, in order to give the driver the best braking feel. J's Racing could have used a 4 Piston design however they found that this lead to heat spots on the pads which resulted in uneven wear, which was not a desireable aspect when it came to endurance racing.\u003cbr\u003eEach kit comes with J's Racing's heat treated, slotted FCR performance rotors, stainless brake lines for extra pedal feel, specialised Seidoya brake pads (available seperately also!) and all mounts and brackets needed to slot straight in. The front rotors for the S2000 kit measure 332mm x 30mm and therefore 17inch wheels or larger are required to utilise this kit. Other kits normally utilise 324mm x 30mm rotors. The rear comes with 320mmx14mm FCR Slotted rotors for efficient performance, calipers, brake pads and all mounts \/ bolts needed.
